Beetlejuice Sandworm Candy Chute Puppet

Design and Construction

Designed to model safe practices taken to the extreme for Halloween in the midst of the Pandemic, this giant Sandworm Puppet is 70 feet long, wraps around the roof of the house, and spits candy in a burst of fog down to physically-distanced children below. The head and jaws animated to come alive and rear up as Trick or Treaters approached. Through the rest of the month it served as a giant Halloween decoration that could be seen clearly from the street with no need to approach or congregate to get a good view.
