Night Windows was a collection of one-act plays written to take place within the famous Edward Hopper painting of the same name. The set was designed both to evoke the painting for the audience and expand on its voyeuristic nature, serving the viewing of extended performances within its confines. It also needed to be able to suit the 3 plays, each taking their inspiration from the painting in wildly different directions; from period noir to contemporary comedy to futuristic oblivion.
